Detective Jonathan Goodrem is a man who grew up
loving the notion of law enforcement. He started his
career as a city officer, and over time became thrilled
with the idea of investigating crime scenes. While he
loved the city, it was in the city that he realized that
his ideals didn't mesh with his colleagues, and felt
that it would only get worse. Due to his intolerance
for certain levels of police brutality, he was
transferred to a small precinct in the suburban
community of Mercer, where he became partners
with Michael Hayes. While still retaining his tough
side when it comes to his work, his good side shows
that he can get the job done without being ruthless.
